Since there are over 2000 of you needing regular updates on this then the quickest and most efficient way is by email or text (SMS) message. 2) Is there a charge?

No! This is a free service as a courtesy to you to keep you fully informed about any major changes and essential information and updates needed.

3) What information will be provided?

Strictly essential information such as when the premises on Main Street is ready to re-open again, any major changes to telephone numbers, addresses, etc. advance notice of any holiday times/periods or any other major/essential changes that may affect contact with you as has occurred at the moment.

4) What other information can be provided?

If you choose further optional information can be sent at your request. You need to be a current or previous customer of Herbs and Helpers to receive this and tick the relevant boxes:

Newsletter: Advises matters of general interest e.g. workshops, open days, advice/comments in the media etc. Will be infrequent every 2-3 months.

Special Offers: Lets you know of any discounted lines, money off, special items etc. that you can take advantage of. Frequency as available, maybe once in 6-8 weeks.

Research: Be informed of any latest developments on your condition. Changes to treatments, supplements any clinical trials that may be relevant. Frequency as available. You can also check our Knowledge Base daily for this.

You can unsubscribe at any time by visiting the website to deregister. You can update your contact information at any time by visiting the website also. You can also unsubscribe directly from any emails as you receive them by using the unsubscribe option in the email.

We promise you will not be spammed! We aim to provide only genuinely useful information and offers that you have requested.

5) Can I change my mind? Change my details?

Yes! If you would like to unsubscribe or change the details used to contact you then just visit the website to do this. If you want to tell us quickly about any address or other changes to YOUR contact details then you can use the website to provide this also.

6) How secure is my information?

You will notice that when you submit your information the webpage uses a secure (https) connection this means you are entering and sending your information over an encrypted connection. Only I have access to this information over a secure encrypted connection so that all reasonable precautions have been taken to ensure that this is a safe and secure means of submitting this information. We also comply with the Data Protection Act 1998, the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003, the requirements of the Information Commissioner and with ISO 9001:2008 Clause 4.2.4 Control of Records. 7) What happens if decide not to register?

The pack you have received is an invitation for you to register for ease of further contact with Lorraine Hodgkinson/Herbs and Helpers. It has been decided that postal mailings will be phased out, it is greener, quicker and more efficient to send emails or text messages. Telephone contact will of course be maintained with all existing clients and there will be no change to the quality of support that you receive in this way.

8) What if I have no email address or mobile phone number?

You may register a friend or relative’s email or mobile telephone if you prefer, providing you have their permission to do so first! You will also be asked to confirm a contact landline number so I can be sure that you can always be reached if needed, although telephone contact will only be made to do with your treatment, appointments and support as usual. The information alerts system and any other information you have subscribed to will only be available by email or text message.
