KNOWN NIGGLES

Currently the following NIGGLES exist:

Adding a new customer with a duplicate customer number

Niggle: You fill in all the fields to add the new customer and then you get an error message that the customer number is a duplicate and can't alter it unless you delete all the customer details and start again,

Solution: Test is the customer number exists from Customer screen before you start to add it.


UPDATE: THIS BUG HAS NOW BEEN FIXED AND WILL BE ACTIVE IN THE NEXT RELEASE!

Adding new items to existing lists etc.

Niggle: You double-click to add a new item to a list e.g. new ingredient. When you return you can't see the newly added item.

Solution: Click somewhere else on the page, then click back in the box you added the new item to, you should now see it displayed.

Action: Have tried several fixes! Only some boxes affected. No global solution as yet.

Updating DSHEA data

Niggle: In DSHEA data page you change background colour, Servings Per Container etc. and opt to save changes when prompted. When you then press Save or Save and Close on the Product Record you get a box saying Write Conflict Error.

Solution: Tend to choose Drop Changes then go back into DSHEA data and check the areas you changed and update again if needed (often they remain as you saved them). Press Save or Save and Close on Product Record again, no Write Conflict Error and your changes are now active.

Action: Updating DSHEA data and saving Product Record means two saves to the Product Record. Once you have done this once usually does not recur. No better solution as yet.
