Terms and Conditions

1) Prices are subject to change without notice or extra publications of the fact, so please check if you have any doubts.

2) The minimum total order value is £5.00 for net orders and £5.00 for prescription orders below this a surcharge of £5.00 applies.

3) Goods remain the property of Herbs and Helpers until paid for in full. Full payment should be made within 30 days of despatch date, after this interest may be charged on the outstanding balance at a rate of 2% per month. Currently payment by debit/credit card is the only accepted payment method via the website. When buying from the shop goods will not be despatched until payment is received and/or cleared in full.

4) If goods are damaged, late or missing please contact Herbs and Helpers and the carrier within three days. Please note you may need to obtain a report from the carrier if goods arrive damaged.

5) Products bought by practitioners may be returned if in a new saleable condition. The maximum time limit for this is within 30 days after the despatch date. For this please obtain authorisation from Herbs and Helpers in writing first and note that a restocking fee of 10% the value of total goods returned will be charged. Please note prescription/customised orders may not be returned. Please note that the customer bears all costs of recovery/return of any products purchased.

6) All nett practitioner orders carry discounts :-
Currently for *KPC Single herbs, Formulas, 300mg Classic Tablets and 600mg Custom Tablets for orders >£700 deduct 10%. Please note discounts do not apply to prescription/customised orders or any products not mentioned in the list above*. If you need/require regular orders over £700.00 then please inquire about special discount rates for such orders.

Please note currently no VAT is being charged.

Prices for the prescription service are listed on this site next to each product (usually denoted as 1g or 1 tablet etc.) and appear under Public/Rx Price in the catalogue, no VAT applies. Minimum total order is £5.00 below this a service charge of £5.00 applies. Prices are inclusive of carriage within the UK. All prescriptions are sent *first class Royal Mail.

Nett Orders within the UK up to 2kg (including p&p) are charged at recorded Royal Mail first class rates and sent *first class. This further applies to each part of the order above 2kgs up to 4kgs. After 4kgs the price is £14.00 plus 50p for up to/each 0.5 kg after this. After 4kgs items may be sent by Parcel force/other carrier and delivery times may vary, typically taking 3-10 days. For orders in the Highlands and Islands of Scotland and Northern Ireland prices are the same but delivery may take an additional 2/3 days. Minimum total value for net orders is £5.00 below this a service charge of £5.00 applies.

Prescriptions Non UK

Select your country (UK terms see above). According to the Royal Mail this will correspond to an area: Europe (Irish Republic in here), Rest of World (this is automatically calculated) From this the prices follow:

Europe up to 2kgs (including p&p) Royal Mail small packet rates are used. This further applies to each part of the order above 2kgs up to 5kgs. After 5kgs the price is £60.00 plus £5.00 for up to/each 1kg after this. After 5kgs items may be sent by Parcel force/other carrier.

Rest of World up to 2kgs (including p&p) Royal Mail small packet rates are used. This further applies to each part of the order above 2kgs up to 5kgs. After 5kgs the price is £85.00 plus £10.00 for up to/each 1kg after this. After 5kgs items may be sent by Parcel force/other carrier.

Nett orders Non UK

Rest of World up to 2kgs (including p&p) Royal Mail small packet rates are used, also a charge of £4.95 is added for International signed for. This further applies to each part of the order above 2kgs up to 5kgs. After 5kgs the price is £85.00 plus £10.00 for up to/each 1kg after this. After 5kgs items may be sent by Parcel force/other carrier.

The maximum total weight for this system is 30kgs. Above this please inquire about carriage. All above rates include p&p.

*Although first class Royal Mail rates are charged Herbs and Helpers reserves the right to send items via Royal Mail Special Delivery or Royal Mail Standard Parcels if it chooses. This may mean an enhanced service or slightly longer delivery time. Royal Mail Special Delivery Next Day (before 1pm) including up to £500.00 compensation is also an option within the UK. Please note this will depend on date of despatch of your order.

WEIGHTS USED TO CALCULATE POSTAGE (INCLUDING AN ALLOWANCE FOR PACKED WEIGHT):

KPC Single Herbs and KPC Classic Formulas: 200g per 100g of product.

300mg Classic Tablets: 450g per 500 tablets.

600mg Custom Tablets: 500g per 500 tablets.

Filled Capsules: 100g per 90 capsules.

Creams: 100g per 60g cream.

7) Herbs and Helpers will only supply registered practitioners of Chinese Herbal Medicine, Western Herbal Medicine or Medical Doctors/Vets and/or their patients with products.

8) Currently no VAT is charged until liability makes this necessary.

9) Availability is indicated as marked but in the event of products being out of stock or unavailable a back order will be created and you may be contacted as to whether you still require these goods at a later date. If you have any queries about the availability of a particular item then please inquire before ordering.

10) Disclaimer: Herbs and Helpers undertakes to supply products that are fit for their purposes as accepted within the trade and practice of herbal medicine. Herbs and Helpers takes no responsibility for misuse, abuse or incorrect storage/care of products once in the customer's care and can not be held liable for incorrect usage or application, this is down to the practitioner's discretion.
